QCD under Extreme Conditions

This is the second of a series of two meetings designed to launch a sustainable collaboration in the field of the Theory of Fundamental Interactions involving Instituto de Fisica - UFRJ (Brazil), Service de Physique Théorique - DSM/CEA (France), and interested researchers and students from other Brazilian institutes. The main goal is to support long term visits of postdocs and graduate students to Saclay and regular long and short term visits of researchers in the framework of collaboration projects addressing the most recent issues in the field.

The meeting is organized as a series of lectures in the morning, followed by a session of discussions and complementary seminars by the participants in the afternoon. The lectures will start at the graduate level and are aimed to emphasize the most recent topics of research. The afternoon discussions are planned to put the French team in contact with the young Brazilian participants for future collaborations.
