Abstract:
Perturbation Theory applied to large-scale cosmological fields for
Gaussian initial condition provides us with a large variety of statistical
properties of the cosmological density field, such as the expected behaviour
of the high order moments of the counts in cells probability distribution
functions. In this contribution I present the general framework of these
calculations, and their domain of validity. In particular I apply these
statistical indicators to galaxy angular surveys and stress that the
observations in the APM angular survey points towards a slightly biased
galaxy distribution.
