Topics studied at the institute include: superconductivity in strongly correlated materials, competition between superconductivity and phases involving modulation of the real space of the electron density, atomically thin artificial two-dimensional materials, topological phases, Chern bands, dynamic mean field theory (DMFT), topological quantum chemistry, the fractional quantum Hall effect, density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) methods and quantum magnetism.
