Quantum criticality in He3 bi-layers and heavy fermions compounds
I will discuss theories for quantum phase transitions in strongly correlated fermionic systems. Of particular interest is the one where the critical modes are associated with the destruction of the Kondo effect at the transition. Application to experimental systems allows to outline successes and weaknesses of such a model.
