Holographic first order phase transitions in real time

In this talk I will describe the real time dynamics of a holographic model with a first order phase transition. Through a numerical solution of Einstein's equations we observe a dynamical separation into regions of two coexisting phases separated by domain walls. The computation using AdS/CFT allows to track the details of the growth of these domains as well as their possible collisions.
