After graduating in Harvard in 2008, and three postdoctoral positions (one at IPhT), Monica got a tenure Professor position in Uppsala in 2014, and en 2015 she was the recipient of a Starting Grant from the European Research Council « Emergent-BH » (Emergent spacetime and maximale spinning black holes). She now joins the IPhT as a permanent CEA researcher.
