The infrared structure of gauge amplitudes in the high-energy limit

The infrared structure of gauge amplitudes in the high-energy limit

I will review recent progress in our understanding of infrared singularities of non-abelian gauge theories, to all orders in perturbation theory. For massless gauge theories, our knowledge can be summarized in a compact expression, the dipole formula, that is conjectured to give the complete result for general amplitudes involving an arbitrary number of colored particles. I will then describe the application of the dipole formula to the high-energy limit, showing how one may use it to understand the phenomenon of perturbative Reggeization, and predict its breakdown at NNLL accuracy.
