The quantization of non-linear sigma models with supermanifold target spaces has many motivations, ranging from condensed matter systems with random disorder to the celebrated AdS/CFT correspondence of string theory. I shall address the construction of conformal quantum field theories arising in this context. Focusing on a few instructive examples, I shall illustrate some of the important novel properties these theories inherit from the remarkable features of super-geometry.
