Recasting ATLAS/CMS analyses for BSM Physics using Atom/Fastlim
We introduce the Atom/Fastlim analysis framework for general Beyond Standard Model (BSM) physics collider searches. Using the tools, we can reinterprete current ATLAS and CMS experimental results targeting specific limited models/parameters to a broader class of models. To perform such “recasting”, we need database for experimental analyses and results, and automated program pipeline of experimental analyses for different models. In this talk, we show how the Atom/Fastlim Framework is designed to achieve this goal, compare it with other méthodologies employed by other tools, and discuss some desirable coordination in the high energy physics community.
