Non-supersymmetric unification:neutrino mass, proton decay, leptogenesis and light leptoquarks
We discuss predictions of a minimal realistic non-supersymmetric grand unified theory. It is shown that the constraints coming from the unification of gauge interactions predict light scalar leptoquarks. The upper bound on the total proton decay lifetime and the possibility to explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe are studied. We conclude that this GUT model can be tested at the next generation of proton decay experiments and future colliders through the production of scalar leptoquarks.
