We discuss the status of the present LHCb anomalies in the post-R_K* era. The crucial theoretical question is if these tensions are due to unknown hadronic corrections or new physics within the exclusive modes measured at LHCb. The talk focuses on the possibilities to resolve this ambiguity. One option are crosschecks with inclusive modes, another option in the long run is the method of refactorisation.
