Lepton flavour violation: a window on physics beyond the Standard Model

Lepton flavour violation: a window on physics beyond the Standard Model

I will discuss indirect effects of supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model in the lepton sector, which are accessible at low-energy experiments searching for rare decays such as $mu rightarrow e gamma$. If observed, such processes would provide complementary information with respect to collider data. I will also discuss the possibility of discriminating between different high-energy scenarios through correlations between various lepton flavour violating processes.
