After summarizing the observational constraints on lepton (flavor) asymmetry of the Universe, I will discuss several consequences a of moderately large lepton asymmetry. It will be shown that lepton asymmetry can influence the dynamics of the cosmic QCD transition and modify the abundance of WIMPs.
