In this talk, I will show how to obtain bounds on Wilson coefficients of an Effective Field Theory by imposing only the requirement of causal propagation in the infrared. This can be compared to other methods such as positivity bounds which require assumptions of the UV completion. I will show examples on bounds on scalar and photon EFTs and how this can match or complement the results from positivity bounds.
