I will present work done on classes of BPS, asymptotically $AdS_4$ dyonic black holes in $N=2$ gauged supergravity with non-trivial hypermultiplets. The four dimensional theories we study have embeddings into M-theory via consistent truncations on $S^7$ and also on various Sasaki-Einstein manifolds.
