Anti-brane uplifting have been a subject of dicsussion for quite some time now, ever since their backreaction started showing signs of singularities in the surrounding flux. In this talk I will review some of my earlier work to put it into context of recent activity in this field. I will also present some ongoing computations of corrections to the anti-brane potential.
