The third Prix Cosmos of the popular science book in French, have been attributed during a cerenomy at the Institut de France on May, the 26th 2026. Pupils from French schools who have participated in electing the prize winner, and representative of the partners and supporting institutes were present.
The two prize winners are:
– Prix Cosmos des Lycéens has been attributed by a jury of high-school pupils in France, Switzerland and Spain, to the book Aux frontières du cosmos : une histoire de l’Astrophysique en cinq révolutions of Ersilia Vaudo (éditions Quanto).
– Prix Cosmos has been attributed by a jury of researchers and science journalists, to the book of Alain Aspect “Si Einstein avait su…”(Odile Jacob E).
The ceremony started with a presentation of the European initiative Prix Cosmos, followed by presentations from the prize winners. There had been many questions from the students, and the lively discussion continued over a buffet.
Each prize winners received has a trophy a meteorite Campo del Cielo, symbol of the French Prix Cosmos.
