Research interests: Observational Cosmology (theoretical approach)
After a brief study of the dynamics of solid matter in turbulent protoplanetary
disks (which will eventually form planets) I have worked on various problems
of observational cosmology related to the formation of large-scale structures
in the universe. I mainly build or investigate analytical models which
I compare with observations or numerical simulations. Thus, I have studied the
gravitational dynamics in an expanding universe which built the structures
we observe in the present universe (galaxies,...), the evolution of galaxies
and the IGM (intergalactic medium), the reionization of the universe (by stars
or quasars), weak gravitational lensing effects which distort the images
of distant galaxies.
