Catherine Pépin, permanent physicist at IPhT, has just been awarded a prestigious Advanced Grant from the European Research Council. This grant will enable her tu pursue, during five years, the exploration of charge orders and the SU(2) symmetry for understanding the phase diagram of cuprate superconductors.
