Romain Vasseur, former graduate student at IPhT, has been awarded a 2015 PhD prize from the "Triangle de la Physique", in the category "Theory".

Romain's PhD thesis, co-directed by Hubert Saleur (IPhT) and Jesper Jacobsen (LPTENS), is dealing with nonunitary Conformal Field Theories and various applications in condensed matter physics and geometrical models of statistical mechanics.

Romain is now postdoc at UC Berkeley.
