The general colloquium of the IPhT is happy to welcome Prof. Gerard `t Hooft, Physics Nobel Laureate 1999,Tuesday january 15th, 2013. G. `t Hooft is famous for his seminal work on gauge theories, standard model, anomalies, etc... He has as well an enduring ineterest for quantum gravitation and foundational principles of quantum mechanics. The subject of his talk is : " Superstrings and the Foundations of Quantum Mechanics".
