Abstract:
We propose a method for identifying hydrodynamical flow of the
matter produced in the central rapidity region of ultrarelativistic heavy ion
collisions. Quantitative predictions are made on the basis of a
hydrodynamical model. We estimate statistical fluctuations and conclude that
collective behaviour, if any, should be seen unambiguously in Au or Pb
collisions.
