Kiara Hansenne, a postdoctoral physicist at IPhT, will speak on Wednesday, February 11, at the “Women in Science” morning event for high school students, in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History.
The aim of this initiative is to offer high school students the opportunity to meet women working in scientific fields: researchers, science communicators, technicians, engineers, chemists, physicists, biologists, and more.
On the program, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m :
- Round table + Q&A
- Quiz
- Speed-career session with 10 scientists women (CEA & Museum)

The event will take place at the Museum, in the beautiful Verniquet amphitheater, and will be filmed and later broadcast on the CEA DCom’s YouTube channel.
The morning will be hosted by a science journalist.
You can see below the video where Kiara has had the opportunity to discuss about science her with the rapper Durden, very interested in physics.
