Lipatov's Effective Action Approach to High-Energy QCD

Scattering amplitudes in the Regge limit of gauge theories exhibit remarkable properties. In this regime, a high-energy effective action pioneered by Lipatov is a very powerful computational tool. We discuss a gauge invariant regularization and subtraction method that allows to bypass several subtleties present in its original formulation and extend this formalism to loop level.
