In matrix models proposed as nonperturbative formulations of string theory, it is expected that they have supersymmetry for finite N, but that it will be broken in the large-N limit. However, to the best of our knowledge, matrix models equipped with such properties have not been found so far. We propose some matrix models coupled to supersymmetric field theories which realize supersymmetry breaking in the field theory sector only in the large-N limit.
