Primordial black holes (PBH), if they constitute a fraction of dark matter, can be captured by compact stars and lead to a rapid destruction of the latter. Thus, a mere observation of neutron stars and/or white dwarfs implies constraints on the PBH abundance. We will consider mechanisms of capture of PBH by compact stars both at the stage of formation and during the lifetime, and derive corresponding constraints.
