Thermalization of boost-invariant plasma from AdS/CFT

In this talk I will describe the evolution of an expanding strongly coupled boost-invariant plasma system from generic initial conditions, through a nonequilibrium phase all the way to a hydrodynamical expansion. Plasma evolution is obtained by numerically solving Einstein's equations in the dual gravitational description. We analyze the characteristics of thermalization understood as a transition to a hydrodynamic behaviour.
