New methods for NNLO Phenomenology

In NNLO calculations new mathematical problems arise due to the complicated structure of infrared singularities in loop and phase-space integrations. I will describe methods for solving these integrals and some new ideas to simplify their evaluation. I will also describe lessons for general multi-loop calculations in QFT that we can learn from recent calculations of Wilson loops in N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory.
