We introduce the concept of parton saturation in a hadronic wavefunction as it emerges in QCD at weak coupling. Then we proceed to construct a shockwave metric which is dual to a nucleus in the strongly coupled N=4 SYM theory (supplied by an IR cutoff). We consider DIS of a dilaton off such a shockwave, and we discuss the partonic interpretation of the dual gauge theory and the energy dependence of the saturation momentum.
