After reviewing flux compactifications of type IIA supergravity on CY3 and more general SU(3)-structure manifolds, I will discuss the prospect of obtaining dS vacua and slow-roll inflation from the resulting scalar potentials. Then I talk about compactifications on six dimensional manifolds with SU(2)-structure group, that are related by one T-duality to certain SU(3)-structure spaces with potentially ``non-geometric'' fluxes. I show that they allow for a complete moduli stabilization in type IIB already at tree-level and comment on the possibility of finding dS vacua and slow-roll inflation in such SU(2)-structure compactifications.
