The predictions of supersymmetric grand unification theories (SUSY GUTs) are often dimmed by the need to introduce unobservable flavour parameters at the GUT scale. We will present a model based on the SO(10) gauge symmetry, which is particularly predictive in the flavour sector. It is distinguished from usual SO(10) models by a different assignment of the matter fields and an alternative realization of the seesaw mechanism. Leptogenesis is controlled essentially by low energy neutrino parameters. We will discuss the conditions for a successful baryogenesis via leptogenesis. The SUSY flavour violating effects are also controlled by the lepton and quark mass and mixing parameters. We will derive some testable predictions, in particular for the muon decay into electron plus photon.
