Precision studies of processes with massive fermions - both at hadron-hadron and electron-positron colliders - present significant challenges to theory. At the same time they are central for the experimental programs at the future colliders like LHC and ILC. In this talk I'll present current developments in this field. The application of main interest is the outstanding precision observable at the LHC: top production at the NNLO.
