We extend the parametric representation of renormalizable noncommutative quantum field theories to a particular class of theories, for whom power counting is more difficult to obtain. This class of theories includes gauge theories, which should be relevant for the quantum Hall effect. Moreover we present our latest results regarding the implementation of dimensional regularization and renormalization of noncommutative models.
