Single conformally invariant curves running between two boundary points have attracted a great deal of interest since the development of SLE (Schramm Loewner evolution). In many physical examples of interest, however, the curves form closed loops. I shall present some results regarding the distribution of these loops, with particular attention paid to single self-avoiding loops.
