Angularities are two-jet event shape distributions in e+e- annihilation varying in their sensitivity to radiation in jets at smaller or wider angles from the jet axis. Using the methods of Soft-Collinear Effective Theory, I formulate a factorization theorem for these distributions, calculate and resum large logarithms in the factorized hard, jet, and soft functions in perturbation theory, and incorporate a nonperturbative model for the soft function at the hadronization scale which removes renormalon ambiguities in the perturbative expansion. At the same time that this analysis helps to improve our predictions of angularity distributions, studying the class of angularities for which factorization begins to break down also elucidates properties of the effective theory.
