Dark Energy in ten years time

In the next ten years, a large number of experiments will probe the nature of the dark energy. I will take a look at currently popular scenarios like scalar fields, modified gravity and backreaction models, to try to understand what we will be able to learn from cosmological observations, and how they can be used to distinguish (or not) between the different possibilities.
