The Alday-Gaitto-Tachikawa conjecture uncovered an intriguing relation between Liouville theory and 4d SU(2) susy gauge theories. At low energy, the gauge theories on $R^4$ are described by the Seiberg-Witten prepotential. These effective theories are connected to a class of classical integrable models. Such a description can be extended to the Omega background: the SW prepotential is replaced by the Nekrasov instanton partition function, and the integrable system is quantized. These proposals can also be understood from the beta-deformed matrix models introduced by Dijkgraaf and Vafa. In this talk, I should focus on the 4 flavors model and discuss some preliminary results obtained in the planar (or Nekrasov-Shatashvili) limit.
